Legal Director oversees all legal functions within our dynamic and fast-paced gaming needs company. Will provide expert counsel on regulatory compliance, intellectual property, licensing, commercial contracts, and international legal matters specific to the gaming sector. Educational Qualification:
Must be in Bachelor's Degree and preferably has Degree in Law and has completed Juris Doctor Education
Certification and Licensing:
Philippine-licensed attorney (Member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines)
Required Years of Experience:
Must have at least 5 to 7 years work experience as Legal Director
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
MS Proficient;
Has legal experience, including in-house experience in technology, entertainment, or gaming;
Strong understanding of Philippine gaming regulations, IP law, corporate law, and data privacy frameworks;
Experience dealing with PAGCOR, AMLC, NPC, SEC and other regulatory bodies is a strong advantage;
Knowledgeable on labor laws and with experience in handling labor cases;
Excellent contract drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills;
Ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced, digital-first environment;
Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills;
Strong attention to detail and organizational skill;

Work you'll do
- A Legal Director is expected to have knowledge of the basic Tax and Corporate Law in order to assist clients in registering, dissolving and/or restructuring a legal entity in the Philippines.
- S/he is also expected to understand corporate transactions and structure in order to render tax and legal advice, engage in discussion with government officers in matters and issues affecting client requirements.
- S/he will also prepare letters, protests, memoranda, position papers and other similar written work supported by tax and corporate laws, rules and regulations.
- A Legal Director must be skilled in managing multiple engagements at the same time without compromising deadlines for the deliverables to meet client expectations.
- As a client-facing role, the Legal Assistant Manager must be comfortable in communicating with clients of different nationalities and able to explain the complexities of the law in a manner that can be easily understood by non-lawyers.
