Role Overview:

We're looking for a software engineer who can deliver high-quality solutions while ensuring they solve real business problems. This role involves writing clean, maintainable code, building supportable systems, and balancing swift execution with long-term quality. You'll collaborate closely with your team, proactively raise risks, and contribute to continuous improvement, both in your own skills and within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for the implementation of the software delivered for the Product. As such you will need to be able to work with your teammates to deliver in a timely fashion.
  • Strive to understand the business value and use cases of the user problems you are solving. Not only must we "Build the thing right", we must "Build the right thing"
  • Escalate risks to the leads and product team, e.g. Delivery risk, technical debt, performance bottlenecks, key man dependencies, overly complex systems etc.
  • Have a thirst for personal growth. To grow a high performing team everyone needs to continue to hone their skills.
  • Lean towards execution, yet not be willing to compromise on quality.
  • Build supportable systems. You love elegant, readable and maintainable code. Ensure the right amount of documentation is available and strive to make the implicit explicit.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in Ruby on Rails
  • At least 3 years of experience in React

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm PHT
