This is currently on a Work From Home (WFH) arrangement but must be willing to work in the office as soon as possible. You must have your own computer, headset, and microphone. You must have broadband internet and are responsible for maintaining continuous connectivity while working.
This is a carry up position. We are a growing company and promote internally to Lead and Manager Positions. Promotions available after 6 months.
We are looking for:
**SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR (Linux)**
- To support the organization’s mission-critical Linux environment. Will be responsible for installing, configuring, monitoring, and supporting Linux operating systems. You will also support the firm’s data center and cloud infrastructure, including operating systems, network services, storage, virtualization, hardware, and backups. This position is an excellent opportunity for a systems administration career with room for professional growth in a cooperative and collaborative environment.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 years minimum relevant System Administration work experience.
- Experience in configuration management and automation preferred.
- Amenable to work on flexible hours(night shift or day shift).
**Key Traits, Skills, and Requirements**:
- Install and configure software and hardware
- Must have in-depth know-how on server hardware, OS, storage systems, networking, security and so on.
- Familiar with Unix or Linux.
- Perform debugging duties
- Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
- Troubleshoot issues and outages
- Ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls
- Upgrade systems with new releases and models
- Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies

**Work Schedule**:

- US Work Hours - 9am-6pm Pacific Time
- US Work Days - Monday to Friday or Saturday to Wednesday

- Full Time Salary Wage ($300-$600 a month depending on experience)
