The Inventory Specialist ensures the inventory accuracy of all the items in the store. He is responsible in communicating seamlessly with the different departments for concerns about stocks in the store. He has the foresight to ensure that the saleable items have enough space in the stockroom. All SRPs tagged on the items emanates from the Inventory Specialist.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
Maintains the cleanliness of the stockroom and all the items therein at all times
Receives delivered items
Strategically arranges all the merchandise, supplies and materials in the stockroom and maintains it that way
Provides inventory accuracy
Identifies items tagged as variance during inventory counts
Identifies short shipment/overage and immediately coordinates the same to the concerned departments
Executes RTVs and transfers
Triggers pull-out of items for safekeeping in to make room for new items or the more saleable ones
Nominates which items to be pulled out of the store due to movement and space constraints
Makes certain that all items going out of the stockroom are properly logged and documented
Conducts own monitoring and control of the merchandise in the stockroom
Hourly checks the server in the stockroom for any e-mails and messages, and cascades 1instructions sent through the said platforms
Prepares delivery and pull out permits
Monitors inventory of paper bags and request quantity needed by the store on a monthly basis
In charge of live updating of reports and submits accordingly to the concerned departments
