I. Job Summary

Builds and implements ETL and data pipelines for importing, cleaning, transforming, validating, and optimizing data.

II. Duties and Responsibilities

• Identifies and acquires pertinent data needed for reporting, dashboard creation and insights generation from various data sources – from the Bank's application systems to worksheets or files being maintained by business units as well as data coming from external data sources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in client-facing technical support relating to data ingestion and data configurations.
• Assist in monitoring and maintaining data pipelines, including those built with tools like Matillion and other orchestration frameworks.
• Manage and troubleshoot pre-written scripts, including PHP or similar languages, that load data into a Postgres database.

Role Overview:

This role will be primarily responsible for designing, developing, optimizing and maintaining ETL / ELT processes using Microsoft tools (Azure Data Factory, LogicApps etc.) targeting the Snowflake ecosystem. Knowledge of other ETL tools such as Alteryx would also be beneficial.

Knowledge of data-warehousing using Snowflake would also be desirable to ensure provision of available, reliable, and structured datasets for both reporting and analysis purposes. Experience with Data visualization through Power BI would also be a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary – Data Integration and ETL:

• Collaborate with internal data owners and other IT specialists to identify data requirements and design data integration solutions.
• Develop ETL / ELT pipelines to process datasets from internal and external sources into Snowflake using Microsoft tools such as Azure Data Factory and LogicApps.
