The Insurance Premium Reconciliation Analyst will be assigned in reviewing and reconciling insurance policies with payment and booking records. The position will ensure the accuracy of premiums billings, identifying and documenting discrepancies while coordinating with the concerned units. The analyst will mainly support to resolve the premium billings backlog and below and assist with documentation and reporting.

Duration of Fixed-Term Assignment: 6 months

Key Responsibilities

• Premium Reconciliation:
• Review and reconcile insurance policies against payment and booking records across multiple accounts and insurers
• Discrepancy Management:
• Tag and accurately document all discrepancies identified during the reconciliation process.
• Coordination & Resolution:
• Coordinate actively with account officers, finance, and insurers to resolve premium payment status discrepancies.
• Reconciliation Tracker:
• Maintain and regularly update the reconciliation tracker, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
• Document Support:
• Support document retrieval and encoding efforts as needed to facilitate reconciliation and reporting.
• Reporting Assistance:
• Assist in generating monthly reports related to premium reconciliation and outstanding items.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounting, finance, or insurance back-office operations, particularly with reconciliation.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data review.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel (filters, pivot and basic formula)
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with insurance premium billing processes is a plus.

About The Role
The Pricing Analyst is responsible for the review and evaluation of select deals including the analysis of the quality of the deal given economic considerations, customer value, and competitive dynamics. The position is expected to summarize results to enable better business decision making across the organization. The position provides strategic support to the APAC Deal Desk lead including favourable pricing to generate better gross profit and gross margin and continuous improvement to operational processes.    d. Provide a working template to synthesize all relevant reference, inputs and calculation in aid of pricing decision-making.
2. To manage end to end pricing requests (SMP/SRP request) in terms of accuracy, timeliness and completeness, going through the required inputs from relevant department or personnel.
3. To generate control and monitoring pricing reports such as price effect reports, pricing initiatives progress reports, price waterfall analysis and other pricing analytics.
4. To maintain and keep updated all types of pricing records in different systems such as but not limited to Microsoft AX (including Trade Agreements), Salesforce Pricebook, Pricelists (Broadcasted Internal & External).
5. To maintain and keep updated database of competitors equivalent products and prices periodically for purpose of providing supporting assumption on price positioning.
6. To provide insights and feedback to pricing committee in terms of pricing suggestions, pricing issues, price improvements and price competitiveness.
