Summary:
To ensure the safe, proper and effective maintenance of electrical and instruments systems in all operation sites including allied installation and facilities in order to sustain high plant reliability and productivity. The primary job of the Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance is to ensure safe, quality and effective maintenance for electrical and instrumentation equipment and plant operations.
Responsibilities:
- Performing maintenance and interventions on electrical and instruments systems, adhering to safety standards and established procedures.
- Proactively identifying and reporting potential equipment failures for analysis and intervention. Monitoring of electrical and instrument parameters which can anticipate potential failures to prevent or minimize breakdowns.
- Accurately documenting maintenance activities and measured parameters for historical tracking and planning.
- Troubleshooting electrical and instrument system issues, and participating in root cause analysis sessions.
- Conducting routine site walk-throughs and performing regular calibration of analyzer instruments & other equipment.
- Managing work orders (Maximo and manual) and monitoring critical spare parts inventory.
- Being available for on-call duties as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering (or a closely related field).
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably with exposure to electrical and instruments maintenance of all plant processes and facilities.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical & instrument equipment and knowledge on machines and component operations and maintenance, related tools, tests and diagnostic equipment.

The position is responsible for providing support to the Instrumentation & Control Supervisor in the efficient and effective implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance of the control and instrumentation system of the plant for safe and reliable operation of the plant.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Regular:
_ Shall include but are not limited to:_
Performs corrective and preventive maintenance work of various instruments and control system in the plant, including calibration, repair and simulation of plant equipment.
Assists the Instrumentation & Control Supervisor in the conduct of Functional Test, Performance Rating Test and Evaluation of process instruments indication during unit start-up
Performs troubleshooting, overhaul and/or repair of the following:
· Process monitoring and Control System
· Instrument and Power supply system
· Pneumatic and Electronic Control Instrumentation and control element of all pneumatic valves
Monitors and prepares data needed for reference and evaluation of instrumentation and control system.
Assists in the modification and/or improvement of existing control and instrumentation systems.
Complies with control and instrumentation standards/procedures and good housekeeping.
Occasional:
Performs administrative functions in support of work unit such as timekeeping, materials support, cost monitoring, and scheduling and quality control/quality assurance
Monitors inventory of instrumentation spare parts, tools, materials and supplies stock.
Verify and calibrate as an operating system, the proper operation and sequencing of all solenoid valves, electric relays, timers, push bottoms, switches and other devices which are part of interlock, shut-down, auto-start circuit.
Performs other related tasks assigned by his immediate superior.

- Vocational Graduate of Instrumentation and Control Technology/or Electronic and Communication Engineering graduate
- With related experience in power plant Instrumentations and Control system maintenance

The Operation & Maintenance Electrical Technician reports directly to the O&M Supervisor. The position is responsible for monitoring equipment performance and implementation of corrective and preventive maintenance of the electrical components and instruments of the main and auxiliary equipment to ensure optimum efficiency and safety of all personnel.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Executes corrective and preventive maintenance of electrical parts of all equipment and auxiliaries as per job order request and as per manufacturer's procedures
- Assists the contractor/s performing electrical and works
- Attend to job orders as requested by the Supervisor
- Assists in the reconditioning and rehabilitation of electrical equipment and its components
- Evaluates abnormality and immediately applies remedial action/s when necessary
- Fills out records and prepares reports upon completion of work. If required, Customer's report template shall be used.
- Ensures cleanliness and orderliness in work area before, during and after work
- Conducts routine inspection of electrical equipment including switchgear, power transformers, vacuum circuit breakers, motor control centers, lighting, electrical panels, etc. Reports the abnormality to all concerned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of Electrical Technical course with TESDA NC2 Certification
- At least three (3) year experience as electrical technician in the maintenance of Power Plants (Diesel/Renewable Energy-Solar/BESS/Thermal etc) or Industrial manufacturing plants.
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word) is an advantage
- Attention to detail and problem-solving analytical skills
- With valid driver's license (if required)
- Knowledge in air conditioning maintenance will be a plus.
- Basic electrical knowledge is required. Must be able to interpret electrical/ instrumentation design/plans.
