Reporting to the Sr. Strategist of Global Learning, the Designer Developer Media Specialist will be assisting in creating best-in-class learning programs for learners in a variety of roles, both as they onboard to their roles and for ongoing capability development. The role is also responsible in developing and deploying learning content in partnership with instructional designers and other learning team.

Knows the Business
- Apply ADDIE, SAM, Kirkpatrick and other recognized models to rapidly design, develop and publish engaging course content and learning activities for ILT, online and virtual modalities with continuous evaluation/improvement cycles for the course content.
- Identify best delivery methods for meeting learning objectives. Where needed, adapt instructional materials created for one format to another format (usually from face-to-face to eLearning and virtual).
- Author training material using authoring tools including Articulate 360 (Rise, Storyline, and
- Review), Vyond, Canva, the Patra Learning Management System, and other common tools.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the latest trends, best practices, and methods as they relate to adult learning theory and learning technologies. Ensure experiential learning is leveraged to accelerate development.
- Develop course content including: graphics, scenarios, job aids, simulations, audio scripts, eLearning courses and live virtual learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
- Needs Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify knowledge and
performance gaps, target audience characteristics, and desired learning outcomes.
- Curriculum Design: Create comprehensive instructional design plans aligned
with learning objectives, utilizing adult learning principles and instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, Gagne's Nine Events). Develop measurable learning objectives.
- Content Development: Produce engaging learning content including e-learning
modules, lesson plans, facilitator guides, participant materials, job aids, videos, simulations, and assessments.
- Multimedia Integration: Select and incorporate appropriate multimedia
elements (e.g., video, audio, graphics, animations) to enhance learner engagement. Adapt content to suit different learning styles.
- Pilot and Evaluation: Partner with SMEs to pilot learning solutions, gather
feedback, and refine designs. Evaluate training effectiveness using appropriate methods.
- Project Management: Manage instructional design projects efficiently, meet
deadlines, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with instructional design trends,
learning technologies, and best practices. Required Qualifications: Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Educational Technology,
or a related field
- OR Completed at least 2 years in college with no back subjects
Skills & Experience:
- 2+ years of instructional designer experience
- Strong understanding of adult learning theories and instructional design
principles
- Proficiency in authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate,
Camtasia) and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Experience with Intellum and Evolve are a big plus
- Experience with video and audio editing tools is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional
teams
