Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Public Health Response Officer based in Mandaluyong. Key Responsibilities:

1. Infection Surveillance:

Monitor infection rates in the healthcare facility and identify potential infection risks.

Assist in gathering and analyzing data on healthcare-associated infections (HAIs).

Support the infection control team in conducting audits and surveillance activities.

2. Implementation of Infection Prevention Measures:

Assist in implementing infection control policies and protocols in accordance with local and international guidelines (e.g., DOH, CDC).

Help educate hospital staff on infection prevention practices, such as proper hand hygiene, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and isolation protocols.

7. Quality Improvement:

Assist in identifying areas of improvement to reduce infection rates.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from a recognized institution.

Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) in the Philippines.

Experience:

At least 6 months to 1 year of experience is preferred. 2 years of experience is a plus; however, applicants with no prior experience are also encouraged to apply.

Preferably with hospital experience.

Skills:
