Job Responsibilities:

• Perform end-to-end home health medical coding and accurate review of process documentation

Job Description

As a medical coding, you will review patient medical records and assign codes to diagnoses and procedures performed so the facility can bill insurance and other third-party payers (such as Medicare or Medicaid) as well as the patient.

CPC certification is required for this role.

Coding medical charts with through the understanding of medical terminology, AMA guidelines, anatomy, physiology and procedures and assigning the appropriate CPT, ICD- 9 CM & HCPCS and special access codes based on medical documentation.
