We are looking for a talented EHS Specialist to join our team and play a key role in managing and analyzing data to support our Master Data Management (MDM) organization.
As an EHS Specialist, you will collaborate with various departments to understand their Safety Data Sheet (SDS) needs and provide effective solutions. You will be responsible for ensuring the global classification of all materials, substances, and goods handled at BI, in compliance with national and international regulations related to chemicals and dangerous goods. You will also generate, maintain, and publish internal Safety Data Sheets to inform employees about substance hazards and recommend safety precautions.
You will ensure that all activities within your scope comply with GxP regulations.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
+ Supplier Safety Data Sheet (SDS) Management
+ Apply the Supplier SDS management process for each requested region or country
+ Verify consistency of Supplier SDS data with Pure_SUB and/or Real_SUB information in SAP EHS database
+ Identify inconsistencies using the SDS checklist and request revisions from suppliers
+ Transfer and/or update data from Supplier SDS into Pure_SUB and/or Real_SUB fields
+ Upload leading Supplier SDS to SAP EHS and attach to Real_SUB
+ Perform 4-eye/buddy checks
+ BI Safety Data Sheet Management
+ Coordinate and manage creation/update of substances with BI SDS
+ Handle substances without data (e.g., research-stage substances, reference substances, impurities)
+ Perform 4-eye checks for BI SDS without data
+ BI Mixtures Management
+ Support handover activities
+ Provide post go-live support

- Graduate of any college degree.

- Knowledge of commercial, HMO, Medicare/Medicaid, and other payer requirements.
- Working knowledge on the use of insurance payer websites ie: Availity, Optum, Medicare, Evicore portals.
