About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced
Head of HR & Admin
to lead and strengthen the Human Resources and Administration function across the company and its subsidiary. This is a replacement role designed to support growing operations, with the organization scaling to ~120 full-time employees and managing a large casual workforce of 500–600.
The successful candidate will oversee the HR & Admin team (6 members) and ensure that people, processes, and culture are aligned with business goals while adapting to the unique dynamics of managing both corporate and rural workforce operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Strategy
- Oversee the entire HR & Admin function under a shared services model.
- Act as a strategic partner to management, providing insights and solutions on people, culture, and organizational growth.
- Lead workforce planning and organizational development initiatives as the company scales.
- HR Operations
- Supervise and support HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management.
- Manage policies, compliance, and HR standards while balancing flexibility to suit local workforce culture.
- Ensure efficient administration of timekeeping and payroll (via HRIS).
- Casual Workforce Management
- Oversee timekeeping, deployment, and engagement of 500–600 casual employees.
- Implement fair labor practices, compliance with labor laws, and workforce efficiency measures.
- Develop programs to maintain high morale and productivity among casual workers.
- Administration
- Oversee general administration, facilities, and office management.
- Ensure smooth coordination between Zambales operations and the Head Office.
- Subsidiary Support
- Provide HR and admin support to the subsidiary's sales department.
- Align subsidiary workforce practices with the parent company's policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 6 years' progressive HR leadership experience, ideally in medium-to-large organizations.
- Strong background in managing both corporate and large casual/labor workforces.
- Skilled in labor law compliance, employee relations, and workforce planning.
- Hands-on leader with excellent communication, problem-solving, and people management skills.
- Ability to adapt to a local, non-corporate workforce culture while maintaining professionalism and structure.
- Comfortable working primarily onsite in Zambales with occasional work at the Head Office.
