These include pipelines, processing facilities, conventional and renewable power generation facilities, battery storage, as well as maintenance and construction related work programs.
Our Energy and Resources Division works with major exploration and distribution clients to deliver specialist Oil and Gas, Hydrogen and Renewable Energy projects across the country. These include upstream flowlines, leases, network gathering and distribution systems, major Gas transmission Pipelines, Oil and Gas facilities, as well as integrity, maintenance and construction related work programs.
We are recruiting for a GIS Analyst to be based in our Philippines team and work remotely to support our team and clients in Australia. The successful candidate will be hired by our partner agency in the Philippines.
Requirements:
- A bachelors degree in Geographic Information Systems or similar tertiary qualification is preferable
- Experience with Esris ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Desktop suite
- Skills in automation using FME, Modelbuilder, ArcPy and Python advantageous
- Experience with MapInfo Professional advantageous
- Previous experience in the GIS industry experience (preferred)
- Experience in pipelines and CSG gathering systems will be advantageous
- Strong commitment to client satisfaction

Main duties/responsibilities
The primary purpose of this role is to provide mapping/GIS support to all aspects of the client's Transactions

Key Responsibilities:
- Utilising MapInfo Professional and Google Earth software to set-up, digitise, and export spatial data in preparation for map creation and analysis.
- Utilising Adobe Illustrator to create and export high fidelity maps to be used as part of Information Memorandums, submissions, brochures, and advertisement.
- Collect and organise information to create and maintain spatial databases.
- Perform research, offer educated opinions base on your report, survey land to map for accurate three dimensional information and assist with project management and technical writing.
- Update relevant documentation with direction.
- Changing, updating, and revising of existing maps with new information or making corrections
- Assist team members with any GIS related queries.
Experience:
- Experience using Adobe Illustrator, MapInfo Professional and Google Earth
- Experience using GIS software such as MapInfo Professional, QGIS, or ArcGIS Desktop & Online
- Experience using Avenza's MAPublisher plugin for Adobe Illustrator
- Preferred that the candidate has past work experience in the GIS sector, property sector, spatial analysis or network planning, graphic design or an allied field.
