The Land Surveyor is responsible in ensuring the proper alignment and elevation of civil, structural and architectural finishes. He/ She conducts verification of location and topographic survey of the project site and keeps as- built survey of the project updated and well documented.
Job Description:
- Checks plans, drawings and quantities; for accuracy of calculations.
- Analyzes survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, and other topographical or geological data to plan projects.
- Directs and participates in surveying to layout installations and establish reference points, grades, and elevations to guide construction.
- Prepares and present public reports, such as bid proposals, deeds environmental impact statements, and property and right of way descriptions.
- Tests soil and materials to determine adequacy and strength of foundations, concrete, asphalt, or steel.
- Maintains the condition and adjustment of surveying equipment.
Job Requirements:
- (Preferably) Graduate of a Bachelor's/ College degree in Geodetic/Civil Engineering:
- At least three (3) years of work experience in the same field
- Knowledgeable in handling surveying instruments and estimating quantities and cost of materials to determine project feasibility
- Experience in transmission line project is an advantage
- Must be willing to be assigned in project sites
