About the Role
We are looking for a Production Line Supervisor who will oversee the end-to-end production operations of our self-heating box manufacturing line — a product combining innovative food technology and smart packaging solutions. The successful candidate will lead the daily production flow, ensure adherence to process parameters, and uphold product quality and safety in every batch produced.
This role is ideal for someone with strong technical knowledge, leadership capability, and experience in manufacturing temperature-reactive or food-related packaging systems.
Scope of Work
- Production Operations Management
Supervise daily line operations covering assembly, packaging, and heating mechanism integration.
Ensure continuous production flow according to the approved production plan and schedules.
Coordinate with Production Planning & Control (PPC) to meet volume and delivery targets.
- Process Monitoring & Control
Implement and monitor process standards such as temperature control, sealing accuracy, and activation reliability of the self-heating component.
Ensure compliance with safety, cleanliness, and operational parameters in all production areas.
- Quality and Food Safety Assurance
Work closely with the QA team to ensure all self-heating boxes meet quality, food safety, and performance standards.
Conduct line checks and corrective actions for any deviations or non-conformances.
- Manpower Supervision
Lead, train, and supervise line operators and assemblers to maintain efficiency and discipline.
Assign daily manpower and ensure proper skill deployment per station.
- Equipment and Maintenance Coordination
Monitor the performance of production equipment and coordinate with the Maintenance Section for preventive and corrective maintenance.
Ensure all machines are in optimal condition for safe and efficient operation.
- Material Handling and Inventory Coordination
Coordinate with the warehouse and material handling sections for timely issuance of raw materials and packaging supplies.
Ensure accurate recording and accountability of materials used per batch.
- Reporting and Continuous Improvement
Prepare daily production reports covering output, rejects, downtime, and efficiency.
Recommend process improvements to increase productivity and reduce operational waste.
Qualifications
Graduate of Mechanical or Civil Engineering (Licensed Engineer preferred but not required).
With 3 to 5 years of solid experience in manufacturing or production line supervision, preferably in:
Food manufacturing
Packaging or assembly plants
Temperature-reactive or heating technology-based products
Strong knowledge of production planning, line balancing, and quality assurance principles.
Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Willing to work on-site and coordinate closely with cross-functional teams (QA, Maintenance, Warehouse, and PPC).
