Treasury and Business Finance (TBF) owns the Treasury and Investment Banking Finance controls and provides insights on Treasury and Business performance. TBF is a control function with a critical role of ensuring integrity, completeness, and accuracy of the Bank’s financial books and records. The group performs the Product Control function, which entails providing transparent and accurate valuation and appropriate regulatory control to avoid reputational damage to the Bank. In Deutsche Bank, this control function leverages on a multi-skilled team with capabilities to understand the financial impact of trades from the analysis of Risks and Profit and Loss up to the substantiation of the Balance Sheets, and interacts with a diverse set of stakeholders.
The VP for Business Finance - Emerging Markets is a senior level position responsible for leading a team of Revenue Controllers and Financial Controllers supporting the GEM business for CEMEA. The role provides oversight and guidance to the Revenue Control team to ensure that the trading books within their control have reported Profit and Loss (P&Ls) accurately and completely on a timely basis. The role is responsible for the key controls that support the daily Risk and Profit and Loss production process, and ensures that all relevant risk and financial measures are reported accurately. The role also provides oversight and guidance to the Financial Control team to ensure the financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Disclosures), for the Business that they control, are complete, accurate and timely. The role works closely with its business and infrastructure partners to ensure strategic initiatives and regulatory requests are prioritized appropriately and that individual teams are operating in the most efficient manner.
**Your key responsibilities**
- Provide leadership to the Business Finance Global Emerging Markets team to ensure all relevant responsibilities are being executed appropriately and in line with the Bank’s strategic vision.
- Assume overall responsibility for ensuring the control environment is functioning appropriately through assessment of all relevant factors, including location strategy, effective resource management and task prioritization
- Set the strategic direction of the team through engagement at a senior level across the Bank
- Evaluate and resolve complex issues and select the best action by weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting needs
- Build high performing teams, and support the development of staff
**Your skills and experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or its Business-related equivalents with Accounting courses
- Extensive experience working in the Banking, Investment or Financial Services industry, with relevant experience in a Product Control or Valuations role
- Knowledge of a range of financial products and markets including vanilla and exotic derivatives, bonds, repos, foreign exchange (FX), exchange traded fund (ETF) futures and options, and equity futures
- A proven track record of working with deadlines in an accurate manner and the ability to clearly present results of work is required.

The Financial Management Specialist shall primarily be responsible for the preparation of the financial schedule of all SPI Projects as well as the preparation of required reports on the status thereof as required by SPI, SSA and third parties. At the same time, individual shall be responsible for formulating an investment program for SPI assets to enhance/improve the financial condition of SPI taking into consideration the financial requirements to support/sustain continued operations of the business.
**Key Activities**:
- Preparation of project financing schedule;
- Preparation of project financial reports on a quarterly and annual basis as required by SYSTRA SA (SSA) and third parties (JV Partners, Clients, others);
- Preparation of an investment program for SPI to enhance/ improve financial standing in coordination with the Senior Accountant to consider monthly financial requirements to support/ sustain continued operation of SPI and preparation of status reports thereon on a monthly basis for SPI Management;
- Ensures expenses within assigned projet budget; and
- Assisst in the preparation of other financial reports/ documents as needed.
**Qualifications / Skills and Knowledge Requirements**:
- Knowledgeable in SAP accounting software;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel;
- Familiarity with project financing;
- Familiarity with various investment options;
- Trustworthy/ reliable;
- Team Player;
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal);
- Solution Oriented; and
- Leadership.
**Educational Requirements**:
- CPA;
- Familiarity with Sage software is an advantage;
- Any trainings on securities and investments;
- Training or experience on project financial management (for experience at least 2 years or at least 2 projects worth at least Php 5 million); and
- Tax Accounting.
