The Finance Manager at J&T Express Philippines is responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring the financial health, stability, and compliance of the company's regional or national operations. 3. Compliance & Risk Management: * Ensure strict compliance with all Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and Local Government Unit (LGU) regulations, including tax filings and remittances. * Monitor Official VAT (OVAT) and Official Receipts for all branches. * Liaise with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and explanations, and ensuring timely resolution of audit findings. * Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity. * Identify and mitigate financial risks, developing strategies to minimize potential exposure.
4. Team Leadership & Development: * Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement. * Assess individual and team performance, setting clear KPIs and providing regular feedback and coaching. * Manage human resource-related finance tasks, such as payroll verification and deductions for resigned employees. * Promote cross-functional collaboration within the finance department and with other departments.
5.
