The Production Worker is responsible for executing various manual and semi-automated tasks across the chocolate manufacturing and packaging lines. This role ensures the efficient, safe, and quality production of Auro Chocolate products in full compliance with hygiene, food safety, and quality control procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Production Operations:
- Operate, monitor, and tend to production equipment used for various stages of chocolate making, including bean sorting, roasting, refining, moulding, and cooling.
- Accurately measure, weigh, and mix raw ingredients according to established recipes and batch instructions.
- Perform manual handling tasks such as lifting ingredients, loading and unloading machines, and transporting finished product trays.
- Assist in the packaging and sealing of finished goods (e.g., chocolate bars, couverture, cacao products) and accurately apply labels, ensuring correct product count and presentation.
Quality and Food Safety:
- Adhere strictly to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company safety protocols, including wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Perform visual and physical quality checks on materials and products, immediately reporting any defects, contaminants, or non-conforming items to the Supervisor.
- Monitor critical control points (CCPs) as instructed, especially related to product temperature and sanitation.
Sanitation and Housekeeping:
- Execute thorough cleaning and sanitation procedures for production equipment, tools, and the general work area before, during, and after shifts to maintain a clean and food-safe environment.
- Properly dispose of waste materials and ensure the work station is organized and compliant with 5S principles.
Documentation and Compliance:
- Accurately fill out production logs, checklists, and basic monitoring forms.
- Communicate effectively with team members and Supervisors regarding production progress, material needs, or operational issues.
Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Vocational/Technical training is an advantage.

The Manufacturing Associate is responsible for the operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of assigned machines and equipment in accordance to proper handling instructions provided by the manufacturer.
- Operates assigned machine to produce the materials needed in the process based on daily production target.

- Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and report preparation.

Duties And Responsibilities
Analyzes production requirement and assess manpower deployment.
Ensure that the work procedures, instructions and standards are being followed by the Line Leaders and operators.
Work together hand-in hand with the line leader to achieve better performance of production lines.
Gives Line Leader instructions on work priorities and schedules; trains and guides subordinates on the proper execution of different phase of assigned work station in accordance with approved procedures.
Monitors and controls use of materials / factory supplies, both direct and work in-process to keep waste and spending at minimum.
Implement system to upgrade productivity and efficiency.
Reports to the Senior Supervisor on any abnormality encountered.
Initiate regular reports to highlight events on area of responsibility.
Ensure safety during work with a target of zero accident in the work area.
Ensure strict implementation of 5's and compliance to shop rules.
Target for minimal overtime cost.
Enforces observance of company policies/rules/regulations, systems and procedures; calls the attention of subordinates regarding infractions and recommends disciplinary actions.
Recommends personnel actions such as requisition and selection for promotion; train and instructs new subordinates on their job, provides guidance, shares knowledge and attends to all problems beyond the level of subordinates.
Performs task that maybe assigned from time to time.
Coordinate with Process Engineer for any evaluation to be process in the line.
Participate on group improvement project in terms of productivity and quality; Target for set DPPM for in line quality, be part of the group problem root cause analysis and formulation of corrective actions.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of Any Engineering Course
- With or without experience – Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent in Written and Oral Skills, knowledgeable in MS. Office Apps.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Willing to work on-site at Carmelray 1, Canlubang, Calamba, Laguna.
