Supports the planning, design, and execution of electrical engineering projects and facilities upgrade.
Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
Experience
:
- New college graduates are accepted
- Must be a Registered Electrical Engineer (REE)
Knowledge, skill and abilities
:
- Familiarity with electrical codes and standards (PEC, NEC, NFPA 70E, IEC)
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar design tools
- Strong fundamentals on electrical engineering principles (circuits, power systems, control systems)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and layout of electrical systems for facility upgrades and new installations
- Support project planning, scheduling, and documentation
- Review technical drawings, specifications, and submittals
- Conduct site inspections and verify installation's quality
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams during project execution
- Monitor project progress and report updates
- Ensure compliance with PEC, NFPA, IEEE, and local regulations
- Participate in testing, commissioning, and handover activities
- Maintain accurate records of project activities and changes
- Assist on As-built updating
