Job Summary:

The Facilities Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all facilities, utilities, and critical systems within the pharmaceutical manufacturing plant are operating efficiently, safely, and in compliance with regulatory requirements. This role involves overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance, managing facility projects, and ensuring Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety standards are upheld at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of facility systems including HVAC, water systems, compressed air, electrical, and other utilities critical to pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Develop, implement, and monitor preventive maintenance programs to ensure minimal downtime and equipment reliability.
• Ensure all facilities and equipment comply with cGMP, FDA, and other regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with production, QA, and other departments to support facility-related requirements and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Manage contractors and service providers for facility projects, repairs, and upgrades, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Prepare and maintain documentation such as maintenance logs, calibration records, validation reports, and facility audit requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments, troubleshoot facility issues, and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and safety.
• Lead or support facility improvement projects, including equipment upgrades, energy-saving initiatives, and expansions.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations in all facility operations.
• Train and guide maintenance staff in proper procedures and ensure adherence to company policies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering (Licensed Engineer preferred).
• Strong knowledge of GMP, FDA regulations, and validation protocols.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC, purified water systems, boilers, and other utility systems.
• Excellent problem-solving, project management, and leadership skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Computer literate, with proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with maintenance management systems (CMMS) an advantage.

JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for managing the efficient operation of assigned ALogis Artico cold storage facility, including planning and organizing preventive maintenance program, material handling equipment, safety and security, and compliance with rules and regulations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure that all machines and equipment are in excellent working condition by conducting regular inspection, implement preventive maintenance and undertake corrective or emergency maintenance works to achieve customer satisfaction and operating cost efficiencies
• To be assigned as the facility's Pollution Control Officer and ensure compliance with DENR and other government-related compliances;
• Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying to government and legal regulations
• Handle security, housekeeping and maintenance services
• Enhance the property and ensuring compliance with building codes through projects and building development;
• Handle internal and external facilities and operations audits
• Prepare and reviews plans, estimates, scope of work for various projects; and
• Monitor construction or renovation works and ensures that all guidelines are strictly implemented
• Provides regular status updates to the Operations Manager and to the Facilities Area Manager

QUALIFICATIONS

• A Licensed Mechanical  Engineer
• With atleast 2 years work experience in property management
• Familiarity in warehouse logistics or logistics operations is a plus
• A resident of Mabalacat, Pampanga or nearby areas
• Willing to work weekends and public holidays, and on-call

About the Role:

As a CBRE Building Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining and repairing building system operations and the performance of various areas including plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating, and cooling.

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

What You'll Do:

• Perform maintenance and repairs to the mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and control systems. Keep facility and building systems up to applicable standards as assigned.
• Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.
• Maintain an energy management program. Ensure all systems operate in the most efficient manner.
• Assist with the implementation of a preventive maintenance program to ensure that building machinery and systems meet or exceed their rated life. Perform emergency repairs as needed.

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Universal CFC certification is preferred. Certifications/licenses as may be required by local or state jurisdictions. Prior shift management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

Qualifications

• Licensed Electrical Engineer (REE) with 5years minimum experience in Facilities Department under Electrical Group in a Manufacturing Set-up.
• Experience in Plating, Moulding, Stamping and Assembly production lines is a plus but not necessary
• Knowledgeable in the processing of PEZA, DOLE, DENR, LLDA and other regulatory agency permit is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Utilizes advanced skills to perform complex preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, equipment and grounds. Maintains the building lighting system, including element and ballast repairs or replacements.

Performs welding, carpentry, furniture assembly and locksmith tasks as needed.

Responds quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.

• Support production equipment facilities requirements, work closely with other department such as planning, engineering and production to sustain customer requirements and complete on or before the required date.
• Initiate plant facilities performance improvement (Machine uptime, 100% Utility supply availability, overhead cost, others), make the equipment 'user friendly to minimize equipment breakdown and extend 'serviceable life'.
