- Creates the Design Brief: Develops the central look (color, typeface, graphic elements) that perfectly reflects the exhibition's content and curatorial framework.
- Physical Layout: Designs the exhibit space, including the flow, layout, signage, and display systems (pedestals, vitrines), keeping accessibility and visitor experience in mind.
- Policy: Reviews and updates the museum's overall design policy.

- Manages External Designers: Helps the Director select the graphic designer for the AAA. They review submissions, recommend a design brief, and then work with the selected designer to ensure the approved look is correctly applied across all AAA collaterals.
