The Investment Sales Officer is responsible for growing the volume and revenue of assigned portfolio from BPI Wealth investment products such as All Unit Investment Trust Funds (UITFs) & Mutual Funds (MFs), Personal Equity & Retirement Account (PERA) products, fixed income securities, collective investment schemes and other investment products offered under segregated Accounts, such as, Agency, PMA-like with no advisory services, as appropriate, ultimately contributing to achieving the Team's and Department's goals.
Responsibilities:
- Engage clients by providing investment advice and solutions to Personal and Preferred Regular Clients
- Grows the investment AUM and revenue of the Segment/clients under the assigned area/s
- Acts as Account officer of basic segregated accounts (PMA)
- Develop strong partnership with branches and Preferred RMs
- Assist RMs in profiling and recommending investment products to client
- Assist RMs in providing market updates
- Address investment concerns of Preferred Regular clients
- Conduct branch product briefings and be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the basic investment training courses
- Assist the SIA in conducting reviews for regulatory investment certifications
- Conduct Investment 101 and Financial Wellness events and handle client queries and objections during these events
- Facilitate account opening of segregated accounts and ensure that the account opening and transactions are properly endorsed to the IS and the other AMTC units
- Assists the IS in addressing basic investment concerns of branches and clients
Qualifications:
- Graduate of any 4-year business course from reputable universities
- Has mastery of the investment sales process and product matching (all investment funds, PMA-like segre)
- Has ample knowledge of global market development
- Has good presentation skills
- Has good communication skills
- Applies knowledge of relevant risks and policies in managing client accounts and recommending products to clients
- Applies knowledge on the economic and market environment in recommending investment funds and fixed income instruments to clients
- Able to clearly explain key economic and market developments and their impact to the investment products offered
