This is a pre-award opportunity located on Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean.
The Contractor shall provide an Environmental Manager and designated alternate, whose primary duty and responsibility is to ensure Contractor operations adhere to the goals and policies of the Environmental Management System and other specified Sustainability requirements affecting this contract.
The Environmental Manager shall develop, implement and monitor environmental strategies, policies and programs that promote sustainable development and examine the contract activities to establish where improvements can be made and ensure compliance with environmental legislation.
The Environmental Manager and designated alternate who shall have a minimum two years' experience with environmental procedures similar to those of this contract; familiarity with Environmental Management Systems (EMSs); and knowledge of environmental regulations and federal laws and policy that are applicable to operations similar to those of this contract.

**Job Description**:
**The Roles**
The Corporate Environmental Manager is responsible for ensuring that Environment & Sustainability (ESG Environmental, Social, Governance) management systems and processes needed for the Company’s efficient and effective operations are established, implemented, maintained and continually improved.
The role of the Corporate Environmental Manager is responsible to drives a zero-incident environment, 100% environmental compliance, setup ESG Sustainability strategy, program, initiative and actively leads the improvement of environmental results to deliver manufacturing excellence.
As a Corporate Environmental Manager, he/she will overseeing the performance for all the facilities located in Food Group, the Philippines and International Countries.
**Key Duties & Responsibilities**
1. Ensures that the systems and processes for Environment and Sustainability **comply** with the requirements of Food Group Guidelines and Policies as well as External Interested Parties (e.g. customers and legal requirements).
2. Ensures all sites are compliant to** Environmental Regulations **and achieve 100% Environmental Regulatory Compliance annually.
3. Leads in **the management of External Stakeholders** involving government entities for Environmental and other related government bodies.
4. Collaborates with the departments to ensure that the **overall performance** of the established systems and processes for Environment and Sustainability are verified and reviewed at planned intervals and communicated to Top Management.
5. Sets and aligns the established systems and processes **objectives **for Environment and Sustainability with the Context and Strategic direction of the Organization.
6. Leads in the development and implementation of **Environmental preservation** and **protection initiatives and Sustainability related programs.**
7. Manages the established **Integrated Management Systems** for Safety, Health and Environment, as applicable, to ensure certifications to international & national standards are achieved and sustained.
8. Plans and allocates **strategically the resources** needed for the sustained & effective operation of the established Environment and Sustainability management systems & processes.
9. Plans actions to engage, direct and support stakeholders to contribute to the effectiveness of the established Environment and Sustainability **management systems & processes**.
10. Works in collaboration with relevant teams to **promote improvements** of the established Environmental and Sustainability management systems & processes.
11. Plans and evaluates process conformance and performs Environment and Sustainability **audits** for various business processes.
12. Collaborates with other departments to ensure resolution of the Environment and Sustainability Issues.
13. Determines the **training and developmental** needs related to Environment and Sustainability management systems & processes and initiates the trainings to be conducted to all relevant stakeholders.
14. Lead and drives Environment and Sustainability **Innovation** together with the Site Task Force Lead.
15. Plans and establishes an **annual budget** for the Environment and Sustainability. Ensures that budget performance is efficient.
16. Develop and contribute to annual Environment and Sustainability **strategic planning.**
**17. **Implement and manage Sustainability policies and procedures in accordance with the company’s ESG Strategies, including in relation to **environmental footprint, carbon neutralization, responsible workplace, and community engagement.**
18. Collaborate closely with Aboitiz Group **Company Sustainability Reporting **program.
