Job Summary
An Environmental Engineer typically holds a bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science or a related field such as Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, often with specialization in environmental systems. Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Conducts and handles ROHS, REACH, HSF documentations and audit related matters.
- Monitors and manages environmental equipment's, testing and inspection and prepare detailed technical reports
- Collaborate with cross functional teams (QA Production, EHS, Admin, Maintenance, etc.) to ensure compliance with environmental laws, regulations and sustainability standards.
- Prepares documentations and reports for regulatory submission and audits.
- Conducts orientation to QC
engineers and inspectors on new process inspection methods. - Monitors and control ROHS inspection status to meet production requirements.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure compliance from the design phase.
- Verifies materials if found to be non-compliance related to ROHS, REACH and HSF and informs related department ( Purchasing, Warehouse, Production, IQA Engineer) to resolve and disposition in timely manner.
- Collaboration with QC engineers and IPQC inspectors in making observation reports for any compliance related.
- Contributes in analyzing the cause of cumulative defective parts units found in Incoming Parts as well as production line.
- Evaluate and analyze product materials for RoHS compliance
- Collaboration with suppliers and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.
- Participation on customer audits regarding compliance on ROHS, REACH and HSF .
Qualifications:
- Must be a graduate of Environmental Engineer, Environmental Science, or related field such as Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, often with specialization in environmental systems.
- At least 1-2 years' experience and knowledge on data analysis and production processes.
- Preferably knowledgeable, exposure or experience in using environmental and measuring equipment.
- Experience in compliance engineering or regulatory affairs is often preferred.
- Requires aptitude on engineering and quality concepts.
- Requires leadership capabilities and must have initiative in performing tasks.
- Strong understanding of RoHS regulations and standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Must be computer literate. Microsoft Office, etc.
- Proficient in report making and presentation skills.
