- Develop, implement and maintain enterprise risk management policies and procedures.
- Review and recommend enhancements to other Bank policies and guidelines including those owned by other risk domains to ensure an integrated approach to managing risk across the Bank.
- Support the Board of Directors in the development of the risk appetite and risk appetite statement of the Bank and for translating the risk appetite into a risk limits structure.
- Take ownership of the Bank's Risk Appetite Framework.
- Identify appropriate key risk indicators and thresholds and monitor. Work with risk owners to resolve breaches within the set timeline.
- Take ownership of the Bank's KRI Guidelines.
- Work closely with the other Risk Leads and relevant functional units (e.g., Finance, Business) for the preparation and regular update of ICAAP document in accordance with regulatory guidelines. Facilitate the capital stress testing and scenario analysis for the Risk Team.
- Establish risk management tools and systems to effectively identify, assess, mitigate and monitor interconnected risks and its cascading effects to the Bank
- Provide guidance and support to departments and business units to ensure that risk considerations are integrated into all business decisions and practices especially for new products and services.
- Collaborate with different departments to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and plans, and monitor progress to ensure that risks are effectively managed
- Conduct risk assessments and scenario planning exercises to identify emerging risks and potential impacts to the Bank
- Partner with other Risk Teams to drive, influence, and collaborate on the accomplishment of business objectives, risk strategy, and overall goals of the Bank
- Provide regular and ad hoc information/reports for presentation/escalation to the Board, Senior Management and other relevant stakeholders.
- Facilitate the consolidation of all Risk reports for all meetings where Risk reporting is required including the Board and internal and Group committee meetings.
- Foster a risk aware culture by conducting trainings on enterprise risk-related topics
- Coordinate with the Group Risk Team, Compliance, Internal Audit, external audit, and regulators on enterprise risk-related matters
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree / 4-Year Course Graduate preferably in Management, Finance, Accountancy, Mathematics or related disciplines
- Minimum of 10 years hands-on experience on Risk Management mainly on policy formulation and implementation in a bank setting
- Strong knowledge of banking-related applications and technologies in terms of products and supporting services, system and business operation procedures, risk management, regulatory compliance, etc.
- Deep understanding of BSP regulations and global risk management frameworks and standards
- Problem solving skills and a positive constructive attitude are a must
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-intensity work environment
