We are looking for a dedicated and hands-on Engineering Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and repair of restaurant equipment and facilities. This role ensures that all systems operate smoothly, safely, and efficiently to support excellent restaurant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and perform preventive maintenance on restaurant equipment (e.g., refrigerators, ovens, HVAC systems, dishwashers) to minimize downtime and avoid costly repairs.
- Troubleshooting & Repair: Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions, diagnose issues, and carry out immediate repairs to reduce operational disruption.
- Facility Maintenance: Maintain the restaurant's physical infrastructure, including plumbing, electrical systems, lighting, HVAC, and general building upkeep.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all maintenance work complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Conduct routine safety checks and verify equipment is up to code.
- Inventory Management: Monitor, track, and replenish spare parts and tools. Maintain a well-organized inventory for efficient repair and maintenance operations.
- Emergency Response: Address urgent maintenance issues (e.g., power outages, plumbing emergencies) quickly during operating hours to minimize business interruptions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with restaurant management to schedule maintenance during off-peak hours. Communicate clearly with team members and management regarding maintenance activities.
- Documentation & Reporting: Keep accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections. Prepare regular reports on equipment and facility conditions for management review.
- Other Duties: Perform other related tasks as may be assigned by superiors.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years' proven experience in construction or facility management, ideally in a restaurant, hospitality, or similar environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of restaurant equipment (e.g., ovens, fryers, refrigerators, dishwashers), HVAC systems, electrical systems, and plumbing.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
- Familiarity with local health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to the restaurant industry.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and emergencies as needed.

- On-site reporting, Monday to Friday;
- 8:00AM to 6:00PM
