JOB PURPOSE
To operate and maintain all Utilities equipment (i.e. AIR, DI Water, Steam, Chilled Water, vacuum, ventilation systems) to support production and SHE requirements.
To assist production personnel with machine set-up, calibration and adjustment.
To assist in the installation and operation of new equipment.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Preventive Maintenance and Calibration
1. Monitors and schedules regular Preventive Maintenance schedules of utilities and equipment.
2. Monitors and schedules calibration of weighing scales, safety devices and measuring instruments to authorized third party supplier.
1. Prepares regular cleaning schedule of ACUs, fans, blowers & evaporative coolers.
2. Prepares technical manpower to support production schedule.
3. Prepares Job Order for production requests for approval.
Safety, Occupational Health and Environment (SHE) Awareness and Performance
1. Ensures all SHE equipment and devices are checked, updated and in good working condition.
2. Monitors and schedules refilling of Fire extinguishers and inspection.
3. Secures hotwork permit and ensures safety to Contractors or in-house technician performing hot works (i.e. cutting, grinding, welding).
Operational Efficiency
Performs regular equipment route checks and repair.
Reports any machine downtime that resulted to production stoppages.
1. Performs regular cleaning of ACUs, fans, blowers & evaporative coolers.
2. Records and documents all maintenance (both major and minor) activities and duration of both utilities and production equipment.
3. Performs in house estimate on projects like civil, mechanical, electrical etc.
Customer Service
1. Assists production in the operation and machine adjustments of production equipment.
2. Oversees and reports accomplishment of any contractor performing installation, improvement or repair works.
3. Attends to production requests from time to time.
4. Assists suppliers and contractors during ocular visits here in Zabarte.
5. Helps perform commissioning, qualification and validation of new equipment or machines.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Graduate of BS Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or other related technical courses.
· At least 2 years of work experience in manufacturing operation preferably in the field of household, personal care and/or healthcare products.
· Has knowledge in electrical & mechanical trouble shooting & maintenance skills.
· Computer literate, good communication skills. Knows how to drive a vehicle is an advantage.

Your Team's Impact
Manila's Third-party Data Solutions Engineering team is seeking an experienced engineering manager to lead its platform tools developers. The team primarily focuses on developing solutions to enhance the operations and sustainability of FactSet's third-party data products, utilising various technologies. The team also interfaces with other platforms and product teams in Paris, London, Hyderabad, New York, and Norwalk.
We work as an agile team. Each team has an equivalent of a PO and Scrum Master responsible for the solution vision and management of execution. You will report directly to Manila's Associate Director for Data Solutions Engineering.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate project staffing and execution between local teams and remote product & engineering peers, leads and stakeholders. Ensures that engineering development for the groups under management is consistently aligned to business priorities and that staffing is optimised accordingly.
Trains, mentors and manages engineering team leads under management to perform highly in their roles. Ensure we continue to build the scale necessary for a growing organisation to meet the growth needs together and build capable team leaders able to become the senior leaders of tomorrow.
- Hire & train new personnel to meet the needs of the teams under management. Collaborate with local and remote leaders on staffing needs. Ensure we meet hiring plan objectives and that we hire and train the right personnel to perform the work needed.
- Problem solve & work on higher-level design (operational or architectural) to ensure the effectiveness of the products under management. Ensure the organisation is operating as efficiently as possible.

- Strong technical knowledge of restaurant equipment (e.g., ovens, fryers, refrigerators, dishwashers), HVAC systems, electrical systems, and plumbing.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
