About The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Working within the Manufacturing Division’s Design and Engineering team to deliver set goals and objectives.
- Designing circuit diagrams and switchboard general arrangements using AutoCAD.
- Ensuring that all design results meet the customer’s requirements in accordance with the company, Statutory, Regulatory, and relevant Australian Standards i.e. AS61439 and project specific specifications.
- Liaising with all relevant stakeholders to ensure that design requirements and documentation are obtained, communicated, and understood by all stakeholders.
- Actively taking part in all the Manufacturing Division’s Safety requirements set by the client.
- Actively working with and ensuring that all Quality and Environmental System requirements for the Manufacturing Division are being met with a positive attitude.
- Tertiary Engineering qualification or trade certificate.
- Minimum 5 years experience in electrical drafting particularly in the switchboard industry.
- Knowledge in electrical switchboards, control systems, motor control, power distribution electrical installations, and manufacturing
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Proficient use of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office packages
- Working knowledge of all guidelines, Statutory and Regulatory and the new Australian Standard specification relevant to the design of switchboards
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels Willingness to work as directed
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic outlook Leadership experience and/or aspirations
- Possess excellent knowledge and experience with commonly used supplier equipment such as Siemens, ABB, Schneider and NHP.
