Responsibilities
As a System Engineer, you will be a key member of the APAC Casino Systems Delivery team, responsible for overseeing the implementation and upgrade of gaming systems, providing advanced technical support, and acting as an escalation point for complex issues. This role ensures that our clients—licensed casino operators—receive exceptional service, enabling them to deliver a world-class experience to their players.
You will work closely with internal teams and clients throughout the APAC region, managing the full delivery lifecycle from planning to go-live, while maintaining strong customer relationships and aligning technical capabilities with business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for casino clients throughout the system delivery and support lifecycle.
- Plan, coordinate, and manage the installation, configuration, testing, and go-live of gaming systems across the APAC region.
- Define and manage detailed delivery plans, timelines, and milestones in collaboration with project managers and internal stakeholders.
- Apply service releases and system upgrades; assist clients with ongoing system maintenance and optimization.
- Provide advanced technical support and act as an internal escalation point for the APAC Delivery and Support teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Compliance, Support, and Sales to ensure technical solutions align with client requirements.
- Capture and communicate client feedback to help shape product improvements and roadmaps.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of delivery activities, system changes, incidents, and client interactions.
- Ensure compliance with gaming industry regulations and service delivery standards.
- Deliver regular status updates to internal teams and clients.
- Travel to client sites (domestic and international) as required.
- Provide after-hours and on-call support for go-lives and critical issues on a rotational basis.
Skills And Experiences
- 5+ years' experience in technical delivery, systems engineering, or account management—ideally within the casino or gaming technology industry.
- Strong understanding of casino gaming systems and regulatory frameworks.
- Exceptional client-facing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in project management practices, with strong organizational and planning capabilities.
- Familiarity with ITIL and service delivery standards.
Certifications (Preferred)
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification
- ITIL Foundation Certification
- Gaming system vendor certifications
