Location: Dog Ranch Country Club, Lipa
Department: Training & Behavior
Reports To: Head Trainer / Dog Coach Francis
Position Overview
The Dog Training Assistant supports Dog Coach Francis and the training team in delivering high-quality, science-based training programs for dogs at the Ranch. This role focuses on hands-on assistance during sessions, ensuring smooth execution of training plans, maintaining dog welfare, and providing guidance to pet parents under the supervision of senior trainers.
Key Responsibilities
- Training Support
- Assist in executing training exercises (obedience, behavior modification, enrichment).
- Handle dogs during sessions, ensuring safety and proper techniques.
- Set up and maintain training equipment, props, and learning environments.
- Observe and record dogs' progress, behavior notes, and session feedback.
- Client & Pet Parent Support
- Assist in coaching pet parents during training handovers or consultations.
- Demonstrate correct handling techniques under trainer supervision.
- Provide courteous, clear communication aligned with Dog Coach Francis' methods.
- Dog Care & Safety
- Monitor dogs' health, stress levels, and behavior during training.
- Apply low-stress handling and safe restraint methods.
- Ensure dogs' needs (water, rest, breaks) are met during sessions.
- Operations & Facility Support
- Maintain cleanliness of training areas and equipment.
- Support training-related events, workshops, and seminars.
- Collaborate with handlers, groomers, and boarding staff for consistent dog care.
Qualifications
- Passionate about dogs, training, and animal welfare.
- Prior experience in dog handling, training, or animal care is an advantage (not required).
- Physically fit and confident working with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments.
- Strong observation skills and willingness to learn.
- Good communication skills; comfortable speaking with clients.
- Patient, reliable, and team-oriented.

Trainovate Inc. is looking for a passionate and qualified Animal Bite Management Instructor to join our team of healthcare professionals. You will play a key role in educating healthcare providers, LGU workers, and other stakeholders on rabies prevention, proper wound care, and animal bite treatment protocols in accordance with DOH standards.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of Nursing, Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, or other related allied health courses
- Licensed professional (PRC: RN, MD, DVM)
- With valid certification in Animal Bite Management Training from a DOH-accredited institution
- At least 1–2 years of experience in handling animal bite cases or working in an Animal Bite Treatment Center (ABTC)
- Strong background in rabies prevention, wound management, and PEP administration
- Preferably with training or teaching experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willing to travel and conduct on-site training, if necessary
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Animal Bite Management training sessions for healthcare and community workers
- Ensure alignment with DOH protocols and updates
- Develop or utilize instructional materials, presentations, and evaluations
- Provide accurate, up-to-date information on rabies, bite treatment protocols, and vaccination schedules
- Assess participant understanding through practical demos, quizzes, and return demos
- Submit post-training reports and feedback
