Overview:
The District Manager is responsible for leading and driving sales growth within assigned territories by setting objectives, implementing strategies, and overseeing team performance. This role ensures effective execution of promotional programs, account development, and territory management to achieve revenue and market share targets. The District Manager also builds strong relationships with key stakeholders, manages operational expenses, and ensures timely reporting and compliance with company policies.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Sales Achievement & Revenue
To implement plans and goals that will deliver sales achievement by attaining the required sales performance in a defined period of time.
Monitors and reviews per product performance of major and minor brands.
Reviews and initiates plan to sustain sales, product movement, inventory levels and sales at trade outlets, hospital pharmacies and other accounts.
Territory Business Management
Manages and supports the development of Key Opinion Leaders within the assigned district.
Ensures target MDs are included in the MRs master list, and the same is regularly updated to support growing business.
Ensures timely implementation of Marketing programs based on plan of action.
Responds effectively to immediate customer concerns, needs or queries. Attends these from a professional perspective and in alignment with company's guidelines of code of business conduct.
Closely coordinate with HRD to ensure that no vacancy in the team will occur for more than 2 weeks.
Manage effectively the operational expenses and company assets.
Prepares necessary documentation and reports as required. Submit these within the allotted timeline.
Performs other related functions as may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time to carry out business goals.
Qualifications:
Must Haves:
With at least 2 years' relevant working experience in the same capacity in the pharmaceutical set-up specifically with experience should have background related to life care (products related to cardio, metabolic, diabetes and critical care).
Must be mobile to conduct regular fieldwork in different locations in the Philippines, and willing to be assigned anywhere in the Philippines to carry out business goals.
Must have good verbal and written communication
Must have a driver's license
Nice to have:
College Graduate – preferably completed a Business Management or any science courses
Highly acquainted with Microsoft software and other company computer tools
Well versed in coaching and developing his team members to manage operational needs of their assigned territories
Strong leadership command and excellent in decision-making
Good physical and mental health fit to work effectively in the field under irregular work hours
The company may transfer your territorial assignment or any work unit based on business needs or may require your services.
