Our company manufactures plastic injected parts for the automotive industry, which specializes on car navigation systems, car audio, steering wheel switch knobs, instrument clusters, medical parts etc. Manufacturing process starts from Development, mold making, injection molding, and secondary processes like painting, printing, laser marking and assembly.

Job Description :

· In charge of new model development of automotive and plastic parts (from design and development to trial and mass production)

· Responsible for reviewing and analyzing product drawing to establish product requirements and specifications.

· Coordination with mold fabrication team for tooling requirements of the product.

· Conduct constant communication with customers for issues and concerns on product specs.

· Preparation of the required documentation for product development, PPAP, APQP, FMEA, Work Instruction and check sheets.

· Ensures smooth turn-over of the product from development, trial to mass pro.

Educational Background :

· College graduate, Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics Engineering.

Required qualification :

· Proficient in reading and analyzing product drawing.

· Basic knowledge on plastic injection processes from molding, painting, printing, laser marking and assembly.

· Knowledgeable in the following standards : ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 13485, ISO 14001 and its requirements and compliance for product development

· Related work experience of at least 1 year is an advantage.

Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated
Research Engineer
to join our
Advanced Manufacturing

. This role is ideal for an engineer with strong technical skills in automation and digital manufacturing, who also brings a foundational understanding of materials science to support process development and material-technology alignment.

You'll work on next-generation manufacturing solutions involving robotic integration, 3D printing, and smart production systems across multiple application areas.

Key Responsibilities
Advanced Manufacturing (Primary Focus)

• Develop and optimize robotic systems for automated and autonomous manufacturing workflows.
• Support the design and implementation of additive manufacturing processes for both prototyping and functional parts.
• Integrate robotics into AM systems for tasks such as material handling, inspection, and post-processing.
• Develop control algorithms and automation scripts using tools such as ROS, Python, or PLC programming environments.
• Troubleshoot and improve existing manufacturing setups, emphasizing repeatability, precision, and throughput.

Materials Engineering (Secondary Focus)

• Apply basic materials knowledge to support selection and qualification of polymers, metals, and composites for AM applications.

General Responsibilities
