Provides support in preparation of solutions design for prospective clients through hands-on development/creation of solution design models and documentation for proposal opportunities of various sizes and complexities. Develops cost solution strategies by performing constant cost analysis and review. Responding to Request for Tenders (RFT), Request for Proposals (RFP), Request for Quotation (RFQ) issued by prospective clients and that the solution is complete and best proposal possible. Implements won bids for Contract Logistics Transport business and fully endorses it to operations.
Responsibilities
- Support bid/no-bid decisions, analyzing the Request for Tenders documents and participating in bid review and customer review meetings, to support the development of competitive pricing strategies and solutions.
- Closely coordinate with Sales BU. Conduct process walkthroughs on Clients' operating procedures.
- Interface/coordinate with subcontractors to ensure the budgets received are reasonable, realistic, and in compliance with Client's requirements. Collaborate with different departments to ensure that budgets provide a high-quality pricing proposal and properly interface with our internal financial and accounting systems.
- Prepare all necessary documents and coordinate with all departments needed for the implementation of the won account, necessary for external kick-off (RCI and Client) and internal kick off (truckers and RCI).
- Lead the whole implementation project until full endorsement of the project to operations.
- 50% to 80% is field work like site ocular for study and analysis.
- Collaboration with Subcontractors and Suppliers
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or any related course.
- At least 3 years experience in domestic freight forwarding, courier, and logistics.
- Seminars and trainings related to solutions design is an advantage but not required.
- Relevant experience gained in transport pricing or 3PL or equivalent
