We are seeking individuals with business and technology consulting experience to design, configure and implement IBM's Apptio's SaaS solutions for our strategic customers. IBM's Apptio Software Implementation Consultants see the big picture and function as integrators between business needs and technology solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Gather and document functional and business requirements from the client, as well as translate them into a solution design and specific technical requirements, ensure the solution has alignment to the clients use cases and provides maximum solution value, and is within scope of Apptio products/services.
- Configure, test, & document Apptio dashboards, reports and underlying data models to meet the functional design and specifications.
- Work closely with other consultants in the organization to leverage skill sets and deliverables.
- Provide end user training as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments in the company to achieve customer satisfaction and resolve customer issues in a timely fashion.
- Work with the product management and development organization to channel client feedback and solutions into future releases of the Apptio product suite.
- Work with content management to channel commonalities across customers into best practice processes & product-delivered templates.
Preferred Education
Bachelor's Degree
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- 7+ years of experience in a business analyst, consulting, or technical analyst role
- Experience with Excel, SQL, relational databases or business intelligence software.
- Customer facing experience in system implementation
- Ability to demonstrate experience with data analysis and data manipulation.
- Education in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, Finance or equivalent experience
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
- Consulting experience in enterprise systems implementations
- Executive report and dashboard design, SQL / SSRS, KPI's, Tableau etc.
- Skilled at working with large data sets, quickly detecting and resolving data-related issues.
