About the role:

We are seeking a technically skilled and highly accountable
Application & Database Support Officer
to support the smooth operation of our enterprise policy administration system (PAS). This role is responsible for system configuration, database performance management, and application-level troubleshooting, with a strong focus on ensuring data accuracy and operational continuity.

A key part of the role involves active coordination with external system vendors to resolve technical issues, deploy system updates, and support platform improvements. The ideal candidate will also collaborate closely with internal stakeholders—including business & operations team, IT operations, compliance, and project managers—to ensure system reliability, timely issue resolution, and effective communication across teams.

What you'll do:

• Perform configuration tasks such as user access setup, system parameters, and product updates
• Provide Level 2/3 support for system issues, coordinating with internal teams for analysis and resolution
• Maintain and document standard operating procedures and configuration guides
• Apply patches and updates to the core PAS platform in coordination with infra and vendor teams
• Monitor and maintain PAS-related databases to ensure optimal performance, stability, and availability

• Participate in structured data activities including data analysis, mapping, extraction, and validation

What you need to have:

• Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases (MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
• Experience with system patching, monitoring tools, and data restoration
• Familiarity with structured incident resolution workflows (e.g., ITIL)

• Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is an advantage
