SQL Database Developer

We are hiring a full-time Database Developer with an in-depth knowledge of SQL, SSIS, SSRS, working with API's, Powershell and Excel.

The ideal candidate will have a very strong Microsoft SQL Server background with extensive experience with moving data to and from SQL Server from file shares, airtable, and excel. They will be responsible for building and maintaining automated ETL processes for importing multiple types of files into SQL. They will work closely with the Vice President of Operations and Technology, and the COO to develop and implement new business processes. As a remote hire, this candidate will work from home using the tools and technology provided by our company.

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• SQL Development – designing, writing and troubleshooting SQL Code (Stored Procedures, Functions, Tables, Indexes)
• Creating automated ETL processes & jobs to import and export data to and from SQL Server tables
• Maintain existing OLAP systems
• Create and maintain existing SSIS packages

We are seeking a Database Developer to assist in building out database schema, supporting existing databases, monitoring performance, and deploying schema changes between our environments for our development team. You will also be responsible for delivering data to our customers using feeds and reports, identifying SQL performance problems, proposing new solutions, and implementing changes to resolve these issues. In this role, you will work with Developers, Architects, and Business Analysts to develop and resolve current issues, and collaborate with DevOps, Project Managers, and management to provide necessary data for report writers as requested.
