Role Overview
The ideal candidate is a DBA with extensive experience in both Oracle and SQL Server. As part of the Global DBA Team, they will support a diverse range of database platforms, including but not limited to Oracle, SQL Server, Oracle Middleware, Oracle E-Business Suite, MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and cloud-based databases. This role involves delivering infrastructure services and operational support for a growing global organization. Experience working in a financial institution or a similar environment would be highly desirable.
Role Responsibilities
- Participate as part of a global database support team, providing comprehensive shift coverage to support TPICAP's database environment worldwide, including a mix of on-site and remote work to ensure 24/7 coverage, adhere to agile working policies.
- Represent the Global DBA team during major incident calls, taking ownership of problem resolution and ensuring timely completion of related tasks.
- Deliver operational support for database issues arising from incidents or changes.
- Provide solutions and root cause analysis for system performance issues and failures.
- Collaborate on projects, working closely with project teams to ensure smooth transitions of new databases and initiatives into the Production environment.

- Experienced DBA with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience, preferably in the Financial Services sector.
- Proven expertise in managing Oracle databases, including versions 23ai and 19c.
- Demonstrated success in managing MS SQL databases, including SQL Server 2022 and 2019.
- Strong knowledge of database clustering technologies, such as Oracle RAC and SQL Server AlwaysOn.
- Extensive hands-on experience in performance tuning, data replication, high availability, disaster recovery, and delivering analytics and reporting solutions.
- Proficiency with enterprise monitoring tools such as Oracle OEM, Spotlight, and AppDynamics.
