What you'll be doing
- Assist the Restaurant Management Team in handling day to day restaurant operations.
- Lead and coach Restaurant Team Members in daily functions.
- Provide leadership for responses to in-store emergencies or challenges.
- Develop new and enhance work processes in close coordination with the Management Team to provide corrective actions to recurring problems including internal guest complaints, as well as preventive actions to avoid potential problems from occurring.
- Serves as liaison between the dining and kitchen staff.
- Ensures timeliness of food service.
- Supervise Dining area and provide excellent guest service experience.
- Inspects service staff to ensure that they are always in proper and clean uniforms.
- Plans dining set-up based on anticipated guest counts and client needs.
- Takes reservations, checks table reservation schedules and maintains reservations log.
- Designs floor plans according to reservations.
- Directs pre-meal meetings with service staff and relays pertinent information such as new items, menu changes, special member requests, etc.
- Responsible for cash for all shifts, including bank deposits, and ensure that all cash procedures are properly adhered to.
- Maintain a positive work environment for the Kitchen Team Members and Guests during each shift.
- Performs other appropriate assignments and projects as required by the General Manager, Restaurant Manager and/or F&B Manager.
