Job Responsibilities & Requirements

• University graduate in diagnostic radiography from a local university or equivalent
• Registration in HK Radiographers Board / Philippines Radiographers Board
• Provide imaging services for patients and handle patients' enquiries
• Experience in Xray CT and Pet-CT is preferred
• Professional working attitude and motivated to learn new technology
• Independent, self-motivated and strong sense of responsibility
• Have good patient handling skill
• We will provide training in Xray CT and Pet-CT, fresh grad are welcome
• Fixed rest day on Sunday and public holidays. Night-shift is NOT required

• Performs ultrasound procedure but not limited to whole abdomen, kub, neck
• Coordinates and assists with Sonologist/ Radiologist for other ultrasound procedure.
• Instruct patients for preparation prior to ultrasound procedure.

Qualifications

Syngovia, TeraRecon. Studies like Calcium scores, CCTA, other angiography studies. VRT,

MIP and measurements as requested by client.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Candidate must possess a Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) in Radiology Technology
• Preferably with at least 1 year experience in handling PET-CT

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Performs diagnostic radiologic procedures upon doctor's order , ensuring radiation protection.
• Promote patient safety and support all related programs and policies to ensure delivery of excellent patient care.

Job description:

1. PET-CT Machine Preparation

2. Perform daily PET-CT quality control procedure of the machine.

3. Patient Screening

4. Verify patient's identity.

5. Ask patient for possible phobias and its capability to comply the position.

6. Assess patient's indwelling peripheral tubing. (e.g. catheter, colostomy bag, oxygen, etc.)

-Review physician's order and/or patient's request to determine the exact procedure.

(e.g. plain or w/ contrast media, type of contrast media, etc.)

1. Pre-scan preparation

- Prepare the linen, blanket, and specific apparatus needed for the procedure.

- Explain the procedure to the patient and direct to remove any metallic accessories, change diaper if there is any, drain excretion containers attached to the patient that may cause image artifacts.

1. Scanning

- Position and restrain the patient accordingly, and give breathing instruction.

- Send verified patient encoded in RIS and send to worklist.

- Perform standard protocol PET/CT Scan examination in accordance to each individual's case.

- Select technical factor (kvp & mAs) to provide quality image with an optimum use of radiation.

- Assist the nurse in administering radiographic contrast media using automatic injector.

- Observe for possible allergic reactions.

- Check acquired images of CT & PET if properly registered.

- Ask the reading physician for possible delay scan.

- Transfer dicom images to PACS for reading and back up

1. Post-scan

- Assist the patient to uptake room and endorse to the nurse in-charge.
