Job Description

• Drive and operate cranes, long bucket trucks, trailer trucks, and other assigned heavy equipment during the erection of 69kV poles and line hardware.
• Ensure safe lifting and placement of poles, transformers, and other heavy line components in accordance with approved lifting plans and safety protocols.
• Conduct routine pre-operation inspections and perform basic maintenance of equipment to ensure mechanical reliability.
• Coordinate closely with the rigger and ground crew during lifting and installation operations.
• Comply with safety procedures, equipment load limits, and work instructions at all times.

Job Qualifications

• TESDA National Certificate (NC II)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

KEY RESULT AREAS (KRA's)

1. Container Handling Efficiency

• Safely and Efficiently facilitate the mounting and dismounting of empty and loaded containers from truck chassis.

• Accurately position containers in designated stockpile areas to optimize space and accessibility.

2. Equipment Operation and Maintenance

• Conduct pre- and post-operation inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition.

• Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of equipment, promptly reporting any issues or malfunctions to the maintenance team.

3. Adherence to Safety Protocols

• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures while operating heavy equipment to prevent accidents or injuries.

• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with workplace safety standards.

4. Operational Support and Coordination

• Collaborate with the Container Yard team and supervisors to meet daily operational targets and priorities.

• Communicate effectively with other operators and staff to ensure smooth workflow and task completion.

5. Record Keeping and Reporting

• Document daily equipment usage and any issues encountered during operations.

• Provide accurate reports to supervisors regarding equipment condition, container handling metrics, and operational concerns.
