About The Role
We're looking for an Indirect Tax Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll assist in managing our indirect tax obligations across the globe, ensuring we comply with local tax regulations across our 7 jurisdictions. You will be a key player in managing our processes, conducting critical tax research, and supporting business operations.   • Maintains the rollforward of Tax related general ledger (GL) accounts by performing flux analyses and periodically reconciling end of period general ledger balances against provision numbers
  • Reconciles Quarterly Consolidated Fixed Asset Rollforward against Additions/disposal or FA Cost Detail Report/Schedules for small entities
  • Performs intermediate level processes within Tax Software
  • Submits the tax returns to IRS through paper or electronic filing, and sends to external Joint Venture partners
  • Tracks and maintains carry forward amounts such as NOLs, prior year overpayment and partners' book and tax capital accounts to assist with compliance and tax calculations

  • CPA preferred but not required
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in tax preparation, filing and compliance.
  • Familiarity with BIR e-filing systems and other regulatory platforms.
  • Strong understanding of Philippine tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
