A DAY IN THE LIFE …

Responsible in supporting the Continuous Improvement Champion in delivering the continuous improvement (CI) initiatives of the Center.

  • Partners and supports Process Optimizers/ Market Account Leads to deliver service improvement and productivity initiatives in the center, including Monthly Coaching, Project Teams and Operations Review Coaching and Assessment. Further includes supporting teams in the identification of service improvement, automation and dashboarding initiatives.
  • Supports in delivering common approach in achieving service improvement and process efficiencies through CI methodologies, embedding CI mindset and support CI capability building for the Center.
  • Responsible for driving CI Culture and developing Competence across the Center. This includes running Go See Think Do, driving CI Awareness Campaigns, managing logistics for all CI Trainings and designing CI Rewards & Recognition Programs
  • Acts as SPOC for Center Project Governance and Monthly Operational Reporting Dashboard

+ Demonstrates thorough knowledge of data analytics tools. e.g. Minitab, JMP, PowerBI.
+ Thorough knowledge of general engineering tools (LEAN or 6-sigma) such as DoE, FMEA, QFD, etc.
+ Tight tolerance electrical connector experience is a plus!
+ Fluent in English (read, write, and speak).
+ Broad knowledge of stamping, plating, molding, and assembly processes for connectors and sockets is desired.

The **Operational Excellence Consultant** plays a critical role to support the creation and execution of operational workflow and templates that aligns to Retirement target operating model. As a part of the Retirement Operations team, this role will report directly to the Operational Excellence Director, and will play a key role through in depth business analysis, hands on support, while learning new tools that will help automate current operational processes.
Support the Operational Excellence Tower Leader in executing the Operational Excellence strategic initiatives of MBPS by delivering process and performance improvement projects.

+ Scope of operational excellence projects involving performance improvement typically include but may not be limited to the following key operational metrics: CSAT, tNPS, Service Level, TAT, Backlog, AHT, APT, Productivity, Utilization, Costs, Quality, etc.
+ Scope of operational excellence projects involving process development and design, process improvement/ re-engineering and process deployment typically include but are not limited to: operational management standards, training & skills verification for key frontline staff, workforce management, quality & transaction monitoring, etc.
