Functions and Responsibilities:
- Act as the single point of contact for national accounts to receive, manage and monitor household goods shipment relocation orders for their transferees.
- Collaborate with moving agencies, drivers, third-party suppliers, and operations planners as needed to coordinate moving services.
- Follow pre-defined move management processes with multiple communication contact points.
- Record all pertinent transactions and communications in move order system, ensuring accurate and timely information is captured; populate auxiliary systems as required.
- Understand and apply account-specific relocation policy rules to ensure compliance by all service delivery providers.
- Obtain quotes from third-party suppliers such as automobile carriers, review invoices for payment.
- Create and present cost estimates to accounts as part of the move authorization process.
- Handle real-time customer issues for quick resolution to minimize adverse financial impacts and logistical interruptions.
- Produce and maintain management reports and administer account profiles as required.
What we're looking for
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in management consulting, preferably in the Consulting & Strategy industry.
- Good knowledge of geography, preferably in the context of the transportation or household goods moving industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present findings and recommendations.
- Adaptable to changing priorities and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Management, or a related field.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
