DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Pre-Construction Activities
- Responsible in creating safety plan for the project
- Responsible in creating safety program for DOLE approval prior to application of building permit
- Coordinate to Cost Engineer for the safety requirements to be include on general requirements committed cost.
- Identify the potential risk with regards to safety and health and provide mitigation plan.
- Prepare permit forms and other form for the project with regards to safety.
- Setup of workers barracks and perimeter fence with proper safety signages.
Construction Phase
- Promotes safe practices at the job site, perform emergency response drill.
- Conduct Daily Toolbox Meeting
- Conduct daily inspection at the site and barracks to ensure it is a hazard free environment, input daily activity on daily activity logbook.
- Conduct 8 hours mandatory training for workers.
- Supervise the safety of all workers and works to protect them from entering hazardous situation.
- Prepare weekly safety report and submit to Planning Engineer.
- Prepare monthly report for DOLE.
- Serves as the link between state and local agencies and contractors.
- Supervise security team and conduct inspection to ensure that no unauthorized person inside the property based in master list.
Post Construction
- In charge for preparation of project review (Good Practices and Bad Practices in terms of Safety)
- Responsible for demobilization, checking and securing all permit requirements.
- Responsible for equipment pull-out and materials pull-out requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Bachelor's Degree preferably Medical or Engineering Course
Safety Officer 3 with Advance Training
Experience
At least 3 years of experience as Safety Supervisor.
