Job Description
The Construction Supervisor is responsible for overseeing on-site construction activities to ensure that projects are executed safely, on time, within budget, and according to design specifications and quality standards. The role includes coordinating with contractors, supervising workers, monitoring progress, and ensuring compliance with construction plans, safety regulations, and company policies. br>
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise day-to-day site operations and construction activities.
Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with approved plans, specifications, and schedules.
Monitor work progress, productivity, and quality, and report deviations or delays to the Project Manager.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources.
Enforce site safety rules and conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
Conduct toolbox meetings and ensure proper documentation of safety practices.
Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and construction resources.
Maintain daily site logs, progress reports, and records of manpower and materials.
Assist in resolving site issues and technical challenges as they arise.
Support handover and commissioning activities upon project completion.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field. < r>Vocational graduates or licensed foremen with extensive experience may also be considered.
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in construction supervision or related field. < r>Experience in industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
Skills & Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Effective leadership and people management skills.
Good communication and coordination abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office and basic project management tools.
Ability to manage time and resources efficiently.
Certification in construction safety (e.g., COSH, BOSH, OSHA).
Familiarity with construction permits and regulatory compliance.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
Willingness to work extended hours or shifts as required by the project schedule.

Administrate the Design Phases of all projects ensuring the appointment of all appropriate consultants necessary for each project.
- Monitor progress of design of projects to ensure they meet all agreed deadlines.
- Review architectural and engineering drawings to make sure that all specifications and regulations are being followed.
- Work with the Cost Manager and Procurement Manager to develop a cost-effective budget, schedule and tracking system for completion of multiple projects following a logical pattern for utilization of resources.
