What will you be doing as our new Commissioning Engineer?
As a fully qualified Commissioning Engineer, the key purpose of your role will be to manage the commissioning phase of projects and carry out all the commissioning-related deliverables for the handover of new assets, by the capital delivery process.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake on-site commissioning by @one Commissioning and Health and Safety procedures
• Liaise with other commissioning partners throughout the commissioning phase
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across all areas of the business
• Estimating commissioning durations
• Writing commissioning plans and updating as required in close liaison with project teams
• Adhere to approved procedures

What does it take for you to be a Commissioning Engineer?
For this position, you'll be ideally based in Norwich, and you'll be required to work and travel across the region. You'll need extensive on-site experience and a proven ability to successfully and safely commission water and water recycling processes. A qualification in electrical engineering will be required for the position, with an HNC or higher technical qualification being desirable.

Comfortable in multitasking with excellent time management skills, you'll be able to work with a specific focus on multiple deadlines and be able to communicate with senior stakeholders on the progress of projects. Commissioning Engineer (Plant Operations Supervisor)

• Role: Executes and documents the commissioning activities under the Commissioning Manager's leadership; often acts as the link to the future operations team (if plant will be operated by the Contractor or Employer).

• Experience: 5 to 10 years relevant experience

Participated in commissioning of at least two water treatment plants (~50 MLD). Operational experience in running water treatment processes is highly valuable.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented 
Commissioning Engineer
 to join our team for a large-scale solar power plant project in Nueva Ecija. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely commissioning of all electrical, mechanical, and control systems of the solar power plant.

You will collaborate closely with the EPC team, construction engineers, QA/QC, and O&M teams to ensure all systems meet design specifications, regulatory requirements, and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute commissioning activities for electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation systems of the solar power plant.
• Review and validate commissioning procedures, method statements, and test plans.
• Conduct pre-commissioning and functional tests of solar PV arrays, inverters, transformers, SCADA systems, protection systems, and balance-of-plant equipment.
• Ensure compliance with Philippine Electrical Code, grid interconnection requirements, safety regulations, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with construction, QA/QC, and HSE teams to resolve punch-list items and ensure quality handover.
• Prepare detailed commissioning reports, test results, and system documentation.
• Provide technical support during performance testing and plant handover to Operations & Maintenance.
