We are looking for a skilled Commissioning Engineer with hands-on experience in solar power or solar plant projects to join our project execution team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the commissioning activities of solar power systems to ensure they operate according to design specifications and meet all performance and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and execute commissioning activities for solar power systems, including photovoltaic (PV) panels, inverters, transformers, protection systems, and associated electrical equipment.

- Licensed/Registered Engineer is an advantage.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a similar role, with direct involvement in solar power or solar plant commissioning.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, solar PV technologies, SCADA systems, and power distribution.
- Familiarity with international and local codes/standards related to solar energy and electrical installations.

What does it take for you to be a Commissioning Engineer?
For this position, you'll be ideally based in Norwich, and you'll be required to work and travel across the region. You'll need extensive on-site experience and a proven ability to successfully and safely commission water and water recycling processes. A qualification in electrical engineering will be required for the position, with an HNC or higher technical qualification being desirable.
Comfortable in multitasking with excellent time management skills, you'll be able to work with a specific focus on multiple deadlines and be able to communicate with senior stakeholders on the progress of projects.
