About the role:
This role sits in the Management Accounts team in Manila. It's a 16 month position open to both internal and external applicants. The department overseen from a Finance perspective will be Editorial - the largest cost centre at the FT, and thus this provides an opportunity to engage with high-profile budget holders and business partners. The role will also provide support to the other operational departments (FT People, Comms, Legal and Facilities) providing additional support to the 2 management accounts currently working in these areas.
The Management Accountant will provide key management accounting support to all financial processes, reporting and business modelling. Responsibilities:
- Timely and accurate month end processing and reporting of costs (including T&E, freelancer costs, professional fees and consolidated payroll files) and variance analysis as required by key stakeholders.
