We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on
Cloud & Infrastructure
Operational Manager
to oversee and coordinate our IT operations team in Makati, Philippines, with a focus on
Network
and
Identity and Access Management (IAM)
services as part of the Cloud Foundation. This role is pivotal in ensuring operational excellence, incident coordination, and seamless collaboration across our global IT infrastructure, particularly between our operations centers in Switzerland and Philippines.
This is not a purely managerial role. The ideal candidate is expected to

Team Leadership & Coordination

Qualifications:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
Technical Expertise
- Knowledge of
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) - Strong technical background in either
Network Infrastructure
(e.g., Cisco SD-WAN, Cloud Networking, Fortigate proxy) or
Identity and Access Management
(e.g., Identity Governance such as One Identity Manager, Microsoft EntraID, Identity Providers). - Working knowledge of the complementary domain (IAM or Network).

The role will be responsible to organize teams support in 24/7 model covering all incident-, change-, and request-management and to be accountable on required service levels attainment applicable to organization reporting to this role.
The role needs to also identify continuous improvement areas and drive operational excellence and efficiency, while also ensuring company business units' requirements are taken into consideration.
The incumbent has the responsibility of overseeing the engagement and communication to the teams, both direct and indirect teams, under Group IT Operations the financial budgeting and site planning for Group IT Operations.

- Work Schedule: 24/7 Rotation Schedule (only skeletal support during weekends)
- Work Set-up: Currently in a 80% onsite setting when Dayshift, and Full Work at Home when working during mid and night shift.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Accountability to operate Public Cloud services in a world-class manner, driving high levels of service performance and management applicable to his/her teams.
- On time in full delivery of new demand for Group, GCI and BU capabilities
- Management and compliance of Public Cloud technologies to audit standards as part of group cloud operations.
- Work with the Group Technology Risk to ensure compliance to all security requirements and standards as part of group cloud operations, responsible for delivery onsite Philippines.
- Identify opportunities to improve, align and synergies business strategic partners and group technology
- Manage cloud operations team rostering to ensure adequate coverage service hours including afterhours on-call and 24/7 shifts, applicable to teams based in Philippines
- Act as point of escalation during incidents and other operational activities
Minimum Job Requirements:
Experience:
- 10+ years relevant experience in Cloud/Platform Management roles, with at least 5 years in a senior role including Cloud Architecture.
- A minimum of 6-7 years of experience in senior cloud management roles is required for this position.
- Excellent understanding and proven experience in Public Cloud implementation, workload migration and management in a multi-site enterprise environment
- Proven experience plus relevant professional certifications (MS Azure, AWS etc)
- Professional certifications in Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, or multiple cloud providers are required for this role.
- Practical experience of managing Enterprise Public Cloud Services
- Life insurance experience within a regional or multinational scope will be an advantage
- Experience within a decentralized organization, preferably within the Group unit where delivery is through influence rather than direct control
- Sound understanding of IT operating model design and best practices
