Prepare samples, operate laboratory equipment, and ensure proper calibration and maintenance
Analyze test results and record findings accurately in the laboratory information system
Ensure all testing follows quality control procedures and safety standards
Collect and properly label specimens from patients when needed
Work collaboratively with fellow healthcare professionals and support staff

Qualifications:

> Counterchecking and signing of laboratory reports prior to issuance.
> Sending applications for proficiency test, when available, e.g. DOH-IDTOMIS for blind samples for specimen analysis and validity test.
> Printing Quality Control reports weekly (every Saturday) to ensure all data for the week will be recorded so that at the end of the month, all reports for graphing are compiled noting the expiration date.
