Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage global accounting teams across multiple countries, including the U.S. and the Philippines.
- Oversee delivery of accounting/bookkeeping services to a wide range of U.S. clients—from entrepreneurs and small businesses to mid-size and large organizations—across diverse industries.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and client-specific accounting policies.
- Review and approve complex U.S. accounting transactions and provide technical guidance.
- Manage workflow in Karbon, ensuring tasks are properly assigned, tracked, and completed.
- Oversee the use of QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, , Gusto, and other cloud-based platforms to maximize efficiency.
- Utilize advanced Excel and Office365 for reporting, dashboards, and analysis.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships as the primary escalation point and strategic advisor.
- Partner with U.S. leadership on staffing, client growth, and operational improvements.
- Develop, document, and enforce best practices, policies, and procedures for scalable service delivery.
Qualifications
- CPA designation (required).
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 5 years in senior leadership within an accounting or outsourcing firm.
- Extensive experience working with U.S. clients under U.S. GAAP across multiple industries and company sizes.
- Proven success managing global teams servicing multiple clients concurrently.
- Advanced technical proficiency with:
- Karbon (workflow management)
- QuickBooks Online (mandatory)
- NetSuite (preferred)
